PARK 10U SOFTBALL

THE NEXT STEP IN THE GAME

The 10U program introduces players to kid-pitch softball while continuing to build strong fundamentals, game awareness, and overall softball skills. This level represents an important transition in player development as athletes begin pitching, catching, stealing bases, and learning more advanced offensive and defensive strategies.

Players continue developing their hitting, fielding, throwing, and base running skills while gaining a better understanding of their positions and responsibilities on the field. Practices and games emphasize skill development, teamwork, and learning to make decisions in game situations.

Teams participate in the Big West League, which is part of Minnesota Softball, providing opportunities to compete against teams from surrounding communities through league games and tournaments.

Teams are formed based on evaluations, with consideration given to skill level, experience, positional needs, and overall team balance. While competition increases at this level, the focus remains on player growth, confidence, teamwork, and continued skill development.
